      Hi i'm Dreamer,
      I've been playing as pro-gamer for 4 years on WoW and i'm now chilling on ogame @ draco.it.
      Here are my suggestions

      1) Implement real time chat on ogame (similar to facebook's one). I do not have to explain you what advantages this would be for gf in terms of game addiction. The big success wow had and still has is due to the community factor. Being able to real time chat with your friend and allys would make the time spent on ogame much more enjoable.

      2) I play as trader, dealing with up to 30 trades per day. That means i can do even 1k trade month, 12k trade per year. Let's assume i'm a human being and i can do like 1 mistake every 5k trades, being top 1 on my server if i commit such mistake i get banned for pushing. up to 15 days(!) for 10kk resources IE, when i produce 150kk per day so obv my mistake is not intentional. Fix the rules that are outdated and do not contemplate the new game mechanics suchs as trades (give 2 days ban, not esponentially increasing each time would be enough or, even better, implement some spider bot that checks trades and in case of mistakes messages the trader to warn him about it, or implement some extra official that help you tracking this, i'd gladly pay for it)

      3) My server is a 4x, expeditions though are extremlly inconvinient VS other kind of fleet activities since the expedition itselfs (not counting trval times) last 60 mins. It used to last 15 on 4x, is the change intentional, could you consider reverting it?

    • 1) An ingame link to IRC is coming in version 4. It's not quite like facebook's chat, but I don't think they need to implement another system while they still have OnlineGamesNet running.

      2) The problem with a bot is that what is a fair trade is determined by the community (plus there are unis with no pushing rule), and I've heard that community-specific programming isn't done. Plus I imagine automatically determining what transport is part of what trade wouldn't be easy at all.

      3) Last I heard (don't quote me) Gameforge is aware of this suggestion but has no plans to change it.

      if it is not possible to implement some kind of "prevention - bot" rules on trade mistakes have to be implemented.
      its not fair to ban for 30 days ppl for doing a mistake every 5k trades ^^
      Could that be considered?

      a) Maybe we will have something like that within new alliance feature ... but not a public one for all on one server. Would be like hell to check that all day long.

      b) We are thinking about the given rules from time to time. Maybe.

      c) As mentioned we know about this problem. For now we won't change it ... but we already have it online in different ways. Who knows -> Maybe.

    • I just want to talk about point 1)

      I suggest to add a Chat-icon anywhere that is linked to the IRC (by clicking the icon) and that has importand links to the board in its tooltip (Trade, Diplo, HoF). It also helps →this suggestion. IRC would be better than any ingame chat because of its features (channel, privatchats etc), chat with people of other universes and its existance over all the time since now.
      It just have to be more noticeable and comfortable. I created some possible locations for that Chat-icon:
