This is the only Tech that I'm having trouble coming up with a decent infinity research Idea on.
right now my possible suggestion would be. . .
Every 6 levels of Laser tech increases these Rapid Fire Rate of Laser Based weapons by 1.
which would result in affecting:
Cruiser
Battle Cruiser
Bomber
Destroyer
Reasoning behind this, As the Lasers get stronger, it takes them less time to cut through the shields and Armour of opposing ships and defensive Structures, meaning less time is needed to fire against those ships and structures and that ship can change targets quicker than before. Also as the Laser gets stronger it would also get faster due to the particles being more excited.
this idea is probably not all that great, and could possibly be overpowered but as of right now its the only thing i can think of as a suggestion.
