If you just click on the fusion plant, you'll see what it gives (basically, 5 energy for each deut/hour consumed). Doesn't seem like the energy technology applies a bonus to it in that version.

I suppose if you're still there in 3 years, there will be a reason to worry about the energy provided by a level 20 fusion plant. I'd be much more worried about the cost though, since each level is 1.8 times more expensive than the previous one, which would bring the 20th level's cost up to:

25,496,472 cristal
12,748,236 deuterium


Even on nowadays universes where the Energy technology applies a multiplier to the fusion plant's output, you rarely go that high. You'll see combos of Energy 18 + FP 18, or 19-19 for the really highly developed players, and those combos reach 30,000 energy at the very least, while here on the oldschool server we're gonna be sticking to the 3,000-4,000 energy range before satellites become the only cost-effective option.

So, as if it wasn't obvious, Energy technology doesn't affect the energy output on this server. Any level above 12 to unlock the terraformer is basically wasted.

does anybody remember chances for big planets at places in solar systems? 4-6 the biggest as i remember, how about 13-15?

• pos1 to 3: 80% between 40 and 70 fields (55+/-15)
• pos4 to 6: 80% between 120 and 310 fields (215+/-95)
• pos7 to 9: 80% between 105 and 195 fields (150+/-45)
• pos10 to 12: 80% between 75 and 125 fields (100+/-25)
• pos13 to 15: 80% between 60 and 190 fields (125+/-65)
