I'm wondering how many players have a colony so far?

If you have colonized a spot 4 you would have got 200+ sizes

I have a colony too, position 6, 262 fields =D

5 colonies here, all 240+ sized

200+ fields are really overkill on a x1 universe, unless you're extra clingy about not making an extra terraformer level that would cost peanuts compared to the three or four buildings you're going to add on the additional fields.
I got a lousy 164 fields in position 9 and I don't see why I wouldn't keep it. If it was my last colony and I had a more developed economy, then I would consider retrying, but for a first one, it's more than sufficient.
Also, better deuterium production on colder planets makes position 4 not so good of a deal in the long run. -
the best position for a maximum nr of fields are 4,5,6 ???

My first colony was on 196 areals - totally fine - on spot 4.
And yes, you get highest chance to get a planet within the high-end of sizes by colonizing on spot, 4, 5 and 6. -
On which level should the mines be to be able to build a colony ship and compensate the point lose AND shall i colonies more planets in a row or build em up step by step till every single planet has ammortize itself?

I colonized poition 4 ang got 89 fields. Is this a bug???

Nope. Just very unlucky. Minimum fields is 32 or sth and You can get such size on every planet. On slot 4 it is 80% that You'll get 160-240 (or sth like that) and 20% that You will get any random size 32-3xx

my c ship is flying right now to position 4 but meh don't have my hopes up. will repeat, no hury. -
I got 94 fields on position 9. Looking at your graph minimum should be above 100 so it might not be accurate.
