    • Basic login page

I understand that some shiny page with images, flashes, videos, colours, etc. might be needed to make people “look” at the game. But for some of us who have been here around ten years or so, there's no need for that.

May be you could provide a different login page (for each country) that only contains: Select Universe from list, User, Pass, Enter Button; and may be a link to the normal login page. There's even no need for a background image.

This would present a lighter, cleaner, faster, login page for those of us who prefer it, and who, by no means need to load all the login webpage again and again.

For instance, a link like this en.ogame.gameforge.com/cleanlogin would be enough.

I think this would be greatly appreciated by your “oldest customers”.
    • Good idea, but not managable.
The game itself looses the the loginpage and all is handled via portal, that´s the main idea about the portal.

Anyway ... if you open the pioneers startpage you are redirected to ogame-live.gameforge.com/#/en_GB/home and there you have anyway a direct login.
The video is also only shown if you don´t have at least 1 acc. If you have one added/migrated, then the video won´t be shown anymore.

Being a QA is sort of like being a goal keeper. People only talk about you when you’ve screwed up. We are the silent guardians of game development, and they will never have to thank us.
    • What bothers me is that it takes more than two or three seconds to load the page, and I prefer not to look at the needed data to be downloaded when on mobile phone. So, for me, without actually having used it, it seems like more “bloat”. Which might be necessary (in a way) to manage all accounts at once and may be more benefits, but I hoped that providing an standalone basic login page could be doable. I personally don't wan't anything to do with any other thing of Gameforge and this seems like making the rest matter, like putting obstacles on my workflow.

But I guess this is the future. Let's hope it works.
