yeah it will be nice not to be closed,i meen not a single redesign uni got so many players after 24h since the universe started,with no advertising or simple login,and one more thing,on all redesign uni's you have a small lag,but on this server when i click refresh it is instant.

I really hope that the Universe won't be closed, and that players will not quite after first fleet crash. This is the only chance to enjoy "old school" OGame without DM. If you quit, you will probably never have a possibility to try again at a server where everybody is equal no matter cash amount on the bank statement.

I remember long ago how every new universe was full within 24h from launch. Now 5k i considered good

At the moment we have 7200 players which is more than 3 times the regular players in a "new server"
I think that we can call this much more than a success! -
This kind of universe will be full in few days... it was not advertised, it only needs people become aware!!!

Yes i know - registered a few hours ago. Funny thing that today was the first time in 2 years i thought about checking how things are going on ogame... and yesterday this perfect new/old universum got started. This is just evil.

well its 7300 and still growing :). 10k is quite sure for me

In Italy a regoular server, with quite good properties, the mean number of players is around 900-1000, so for us this is an incredible success

Hopefully it will stay open for a long time... For me it's sad not having SAC but i'll trry to get used to it!

We are above the 7500 mark now and the universe is still growing. Hope we can reach the 10k players pr how knows, even more than that.
