Simple idea from ogame.fr community:

Do like on french board and OO board and instead of adding "Re:" to the subject, increment a number into brackets.

Concretely:

Re: (No Subject) => Re: (No Subject)
Re:Re: (No Subject) => Re:Re: (No Subject)
Re:Re:Re: (No Subject) => Re[3]: (No Subject)
Re:Re:Re:Re: (No Subject) => Re[4]: (No Subject)
Re:Re:Re:Re:Re: (No Subject) => Re[5]: (No Subject)
etc.

I like this idea aswell. Pure aesthetics mostly, but it's simple to implement. And there are no negative sides to this suggestion.

Having a lot of REs not only has any advantages but also prevents us from reading the subject.
Having a number helps to determine the subject while knowing how many times we replied.
