Disable auctioneer while in vacation mode

I am all for this, auctioneer is part of the game, vacation mode means you are out of the game.

What is the reason for a change after that long time? What makes the big difference between only bidable beeing out of vmode?

In OGame there are several functions available when you are in vmode e.g. writing messages, click through systems in galaxy and also exchange resources (this was the reason why auctions are also available) or buy resources.
I know surch heavy restritions to stop all interactions, from other games and this is really annoying.

For me: I don´t see any reasons to make a change (just my 2 cents) > may the rage begin !

Exchange resources while in vacation mode - this option involves only one player and has impact only on the owner of the account.
Viewing galaxy while in vacation mode - This option doesn't influence any other player(s) in the universe
Writing message while in vacation mode - ^^
Export/import while in vacation mode - ^^
Bidding in auctions while in vacation mode - Influence other players, when bidding in auctions player is fighting for item with all other players. His actions from vacation mode have influence on other players.

In vacation mode player cannot interact with other players, except when bidding in auctions.

I agree with Goran, the influence they can have on other players in auctions is the problem

I just don´t understand the problem in that part. What makes the difference between beeing in vmode and interact there and be not in vmode and interact there. In both ways you can´t prevent bids from those accounts in any way.

The difference is that I, and everybody else, bid against someone but he is protected by the blue shield. If he would turn off his vacation mode for just an hour it would make me so happy.

He can take away something from me, like the item, but I can't do a thing to him because of the v mode.

What's the difference in using lanx from vacation mode and while not in vacation mode? I mean please, you can't see your own fleet while in vacation mode but you are allowed to bid against a non vac mode player? And this is not coming just now, there has been talk about this for a long time, all suggestions were rejected, when players made it clear that they want to cut off a player who is in vacation mode entirely. Why? Because it makes so much sense, vacation mode means "I'm not here do not attack me". If one is not here the only option he needs to have is to turn off vacation mode, and then he can watch everyone's else activity, lanx, send message, bid or do whatever.
I think in Ikariam if you activate vac mode the only option you have when you login is to deactivate it or to logout.

Attacking every Planet/Moon will stop it? As i noticed in comunity discussions, those are mostly big accounts and to play the user card > also my friends and allymates noticed that.
You also can bid with Honorpoints and you can´t steal them.
Currently there is no merchant, which doesn´t work in vmode and i still have no reason why this should be changed.
And for sure, if he is in vmode there is no res production available so this is also limited.

But this is my view of that part, you can continue your discussion.

I think that going to the galaxy should be forbiden in Vmode too
V.mode is for vacation. It's not to play under a protection...

If you want to play (check accounts activities, biding etc) why not going out of the V mode ?

And a new discussion started on OGame.pt about this topic.
And of course i agree with them and vulca: "V.mode is for vacation. It's not to play under a protection..."

I like this idea.
There are so many players that only play in auctions to disturb active players.
This system will protect active players and would be something like a "prize" for them to play continuously
