I'm improving the All / Most of all ships and resources icons.

There are only two icons, the first one is with one > (if remaining resources/ships are selected) or with two >>.
By clicking the > icon, it's changed to >> and the next click sets all.

Once you selected remaining resources or ships they should stay by default.
