And also add a "NEW PLAYERS CLICK HERE" on the board portals that blinks in red letters lol to bring them to a players helping players thread.
Player to player interactions are what make this game. Make it easier to learn and interact by giving them a list of willing helpers and easy to find links to guides etc.
I've ran a wing alliance for 2+ years and have seen many people come through the ranks and stay for years because they had access to help so they get through the sharp learning curve on ogame.
Give noobs easy access to the help they need through player to player interaction
