Currently i'm creating a complete new calculator with a better handling.

New main features ( next to a complete new design and usage )
- The 3rd shiptype is changeable
- The ships are immediatly selected while changing the resources
- Duration and arrival time of the current ship composition will be displayed (maybe also return time, if there is enough place )
- The speed selector list from fleet page 2 will be added for a better calculation.


Maybe:
- Fixed selection of one ship of the 3rd type for better timings

Timing / duration calculator

While working onto the new transport calculator, i though already about a "Timing / flight duration calculator" , because several details are the same. Some parts are coming with the transport calculator (showing arrival time, speed selection) - but a seperated calculator is sensefull with special features.

- Features as the transport calculator , but without resources input and buttons for small and large cargo and 3rd ship type.
- Mainly it's to find the best fleet composition to reach a concrete coordinate in a given duration or arrival / return time.
- Or to find the best coordinates for the selected fleet composition and expected flight duraton and / or arrival / return time

I was wondering about the transport of resources between planets.

In
Fleet dispatch I (amount of ships)
We select ships but this is where I think is wrong because if we are going to send res to another planet, wouldn't be better for the calculation to know where the fleet is going first? so the deut and ships are is calculated according to the amount of res?
Or am I missing an easier way of doing it??

Example to use all new features: ( the orange border shows the prefered ship type)

You want to transport 2 mio metal to another planet.
- Choose the coords somehow.
- Type 2m into the metal input box.
- Press return


The preferred cargo type is already set, and filled with the other one if there are not enough.
