I've seen the defender's fleet on phalanx; on a long deployment mission. It was about an hour before landing. So I quickly timed the recyclers and sent them but about 30 mins later, when I was about to send the main attacking fleet, I found out that I had included all my cargo ships to the recyclers by mistake. 
Since I needed them in order to make this attack profitable, I had to recall them... So I had to wait till they return and sent them again. I missed the window of course, but still wanted to try my chance and thus launched the attacking fleet even after the target fleet had landed --risking more than 2M deut! But hey, here's the hit thanks to defender's sloppy gameplay; he gave me all that time for all my stupid actions.
