E-mail confirmation

I just had a conversation with a fellow GO and he was telling me about a user who couldn't login after changing his/her nickname.
Probably a typo, but when I change my nick on several websites, I get an e-mail that I changed my nickname into:....

Question: can we build this in for OGame? Then the user get's a confirmation about the nickname change.

Edit: I just helped that same user in Support and here's the txt file of the chat, maybe someone wants to have a laugh:

Like I said on IRC, I defenitely like this suggestion.
It isn't that hard to implement I guess, but very useful.

Two remarks about that, and a proposition :

Proposition :
It could be better and more secure to have two different fields : the Avatar, which is the pseudo visible for the player, and the Username, which is the invisible key for login. You change your pseudo ingame (for roleplay, or other reason) ? Your username remains the same. Its also very useful to avoid brute-force attacks.
