Nah, I don´t like it. If you want to see who has won the auction and how much he´d paid, you should just check the auction itself.
I don´t think many want to be notified with a message. Just not necessary. -

Yes, a message for participants, I read that.
Right now if someone outbids me I get a message that tells me I´m outbid. So if someone does so, I´m aware of that.
But I thought your suggestion was more like: You receive a message at the end of an auction with details about the winner of the auction.(provided you participated) That´s something very different. -
