If I want to contact a player I can only write a PM.
Many times, players dont read PMs.
So the suggestion is to put an e-mail button near the name of a player.
just like this:

Emails are private, and shouldn't be available to other users, so i'm very against this.

I don't mean to know the e-mail address, but just writing an e-mail.
also in the boards of all ogame communities there's the possibility to send an e-mail, so why not in the game?

For spam there are circular messages or PMs or Msn or Skype.
and then, in this board they say they will implement an ignore list in game ([Later] add an ignore list for the pm in game). So, if someone doesn't want spam, they can use the ignore list.
an e-mail is a way to contact someone; for example, who never answer to your PMs because he's often offline or inactive!!!
so just to ask him something about: "hey, you're inactive since 10 days. are you ok? why don't you play?"

Yes, my suggestion is this:
1) putting an e-mail botton.
2) the possibility to block the reception of e-mails by an ignore list. So not to block them totally, but only blocking e-mails from particular users, that you don't want them to send you e-mails.


PS: I think sending e-mails is very useful in particulars for the alliance founders. For example, if there are members of his/her alliance who are inactive and the founders cannot contact them (because founders don't have their phone/msn/skype, etc.), they can send them e-mails.
