      Dear players,


      due to many questions about the current and future development of OGame, we have decided to organize a community meeting on April 10th
      at 18:30 in the IRC - Channel #o.game. The meeting gives you the chance to have your questions and concerns answered.

      Similar to our last community meeting, we will gather issues in advance, respond, and publish them on the day of the meeting. The meeting itself will then give you the opportunity to come back to those answers and ask further questions. This approach also gives us the opportunity to think about and answer your questions the best possible way.
      Your questions can be expressed in the following thread until April 7th:

      The questions and answers are of course published here in the origin board, so it is also intended for those who have no time to join the meeting on this date. The channel will be moderated during the meeting and opened for each of your questions, this is done to avoid possible confusion during the meeting.




      The community meeting will be in german. For all other OGame communities, we will start a thread where you can submit questions from yourself or your com. The language will be english. We forward and translate them into german so WeTeHa can pick out some of them.

      Well, i have some questions to OGame development and its future..

      My Top questions:
      1. About OGame marketing, why did GF choose the way to make profit from unstable game ?
      Explanation - far i know, OGame is losing its popularity (due to long term absence of relevant changes, or else ?), so its future is unpredictable (unstable) from any kind of view (GF/player). Nevertheless GF didn´t make more features FOR FREE to attract new or old player (to make the game more stable for paid premium features), but they even now raised payment for example Geologist, added buddy poinst with funny bonuses and they are doing on new features (Merchant and Shop) for DM payment (with not a mite attractive for player from price-earnings ratio point of view). Making profit from low quality services is irrational.

      2. Regarding to universe merge, why GF are choosing the way of dictating to any community which universes should be merged and which not.
      Even though if these action will lead to waves of dislike and misunderstanding. Which is the same as losing another popularity and more players. Why are they not doing in relevant community public inquiry, what the player wants, which unis should be merged ?

      3. Why till now there wasn´t solved the question of dead souls (inactive players) ?
      If this leads to image of GF which doesn´t care for player, but only for higher number of registered players on server - only relevant number for investors (banners, etc).

      4. Periodically, there are rising new unis. Why not support the old unis, or merge them with anothers, so the quality of gameplay will be satisfied ?
      Why the GF is going the way of psychologic marketing - to atract new players (new uni=new begginig) and the old ones (players) leave behind. Equally, this action leads to "dead" unis and in some communities complete disaster - death of entire community. This is till now not solved, does GF care ?

      1. What about the idea of a universe with progressive acceleration ?

      2. Do you have any plans to decrease the cost of the consumption of fuel for older universes where there are some very big fleets since it hampers the game at this point?

      3. Are other special universes planned in the community fr?
        Like universe speed with cdr more consequent or defense in debris.

      4. Why no module allowing to make more meaningful wars wasn't ever implemented?

      5. concerning Fornax: - 106 .fr ( x4 )
        what does GF plan to do about of the saturation of this universe ? ATM the development of new accounts is prevented by a positively indecent of great inactive and great vmode-users because of DM.

      6. What about the possibility of having universes x5 or x10 as in ogame likes?

      7. is it possible to create new starships?

      8. Is it possible to lower cost of Astrophysics?



      II / The Community


      1. Today, the COMA is non-existent, unlike in the days of NRJ, he participates in nothing and never answers, does GameForge plan on doing something to have a return of the communication there? At least a COMA speaking French?

      2. Since the introduction of the officers, how much did the number of players using Commander fall / increased?


      III/ GameForge


      1. Does GF plan to continueadding more paying options to the game?
        Are changes in the gameplay considered in any way (addition of starship, defenses, batiments)?

      2. When will GameForge understand that the earlier a future universe is announced, the more players will join?

      3. Why are known bugs, among which some are the object of bugfixes suggested by the players, sent to GF by the staff, still not resolved?

      4. Why isn't there a real policy of "cleanliness" of the servers organized (multi-accounts, especially that we see after merging) ?

      5. Have they already approached the HTML5 for their games by browsers?
