Go to:
Buddies -> Invite your friends

You'll get a link there. Pass it to your friends who want to start playing OGame and tell them to use that link to register. Their homeplanet will be placed close to yours, and you'll get buddy points for their progress. You can then use those buddy points to activate booster (it boosts the production of one mine on one planet).
