Two suggestions:

1 - Find a way to warn when someone is starting a DDoS attack and block IP from being able to connect. Immediately shut it down if you can... cause this is BS... DDoS isnt a legit way to win or play. Backtrack during the DDoS time and suspend those who did fleet crashes... cause you know its whats going on...

2 - Add an emergency login page for Origin... cause theres Emergency's for All other uni's but not this one? I know its a test server but come on... some of us have lives and dont wnat to walk away from this game permanently... how else are you going to get your tests done?

An emergency login won't help when the game server itself isn't working. Plus afaik there is no official emergency login, only third party sites (and using those violates the T&Cs, besides the risk in having your login information compromised).

And it is a LOT easier to say 'do something to stop ddoses' than it is to actually do something.

As kwinse already said, this works only if only the start page is under attack, not the server.
But we think about to add a login box here in the board.

I would like to restate that you should NOT use any off-site emergency login - ever. That is how people get their accounts stolen from them.
