What about BBC code editor in Aliance manager, like in forum? Either in post (on internet is already one sript for this).
After i did the page (inner/outer region) for aliance (in which i am) i was very angry - No guides about BBC codes, no list of working BBC codes, .. nothing.

It should be in game

For alliance manager:
You will have there a simple push-button and when you click on it, it will move you to something like DMZ (De Militarized Zone).
There you can write your "page", either preview it. After completion, just click another push-button for apply..

Gentlemens, something like few buttons, or copy paste alias abracadabra magic with external editors will be same situation as now.
Developers security issues is nothing what player does care about, till its not relevant with theirs (players) personal data. It must be confortable for him. Nobody will buy something from you if its impractical, because nobody will care it is impractical fro security issues possibility. "He" will go buy something with nice design, functions and most higher security. Do you understand? This "toolbar" or "editor" should be done as it is here on forum and the security should be solved either.
But if you want to be funny among players, you can pin a window with list of working BBC codes to the alliance manager or post So, at least a copy paste option will be there.

Gentlemens.. Of course the security is in 1st place.
Just telling the USER point of view. Some compromise should be done between these two camps, or nothing will be done.

Compromise: Security in that level which will be equally to costs/worth > and < user will get his comfort
(Because there is a rule - if someone really want hack/crack the system using black holes of code, no one will stop him from doing it - you can only do it heavier for him to break into system)
