I need your help. At OGame.de one of the most discussed themes is the problem of the number of accounts. Now I would like to know, how the problem looks like in other countries. That the number of accounts are decreasing is clear for me, but I would like to get the real facts about it.

Probably you know the German projekt OgameUniverse There you can look at the actuall number of accounts of all German universes.
Are there also such projekts for ogame.es, .org, .fr and so on?

Well, in the Fr community we are facing the same problem (decrease of account numbers)... I would be glad to give you statistics but our board is closed today (for renewal and moving to another server)...
I would post the chart as soon as I can...
Concerning the AE community, it still is a new community ( 2 universes) ... So It's in the way of development and growth :=) ...
I think this problem affects the old communities rather than new ones...

We haven't got special site, but on board we have thread where users post the numbers of accounts in their universes.

There you can find the number of players in each universe of ALL ogame communities. Data is not very correct sometimes (+/-50 accounts, as I noticed), but good for general overview too.

And talking about decreasing. Before Redesign implemention we had (in average) average 2000-3000 accounts per each universe.

also remember when redeisgn was implemented a lot of "ghost" accounts were removed

We've the same problem in ES com, with numbers very similar to the RU com... and even less.
We have 66 universes... and the situation is critical in some of them

I think, that there was not 500-1000 "ghost" accounts per uni

I can only show one of the first threads in Origin and the first poll here How long are user still waiting to any kind of unifusion ?

I didn`t realized that there I can see the number of all accounts in the universes...


I can`t share the optimism of Francolino about the unifusion. A big step is gone, but an even bigger lies ahead, I think.

Please keep in mind that the unifusion is not a one time event.
Have a deeper look onto the screenshots ( you find them here Details about unifusion ) - Be sure the GF don't do such a lot of work for a one time unifusion. I can't tell here more, i told all what i can.
