Like a Dark Matter pool across all universes in the same region?

I might be wrong, but I believe the suggestion wants the Dark Matter purchased by a player to get linked to his lobby account instead of a single universe (as it is currently).

Personally, I believe it makes a lot of sense, since the creation of the lobby, to make this change.

This way, a player can buy the DM he wants, and use it as he sees fit between his universes.

It makes special sense when we consider account trades and giveaways. This way, an account will only carry the "found" DM, while the "purchased" DM will remain with the player that bought it.

I think is a great idea

I recall seeing someone from GF talking about a very similar suggestion to this around the same time as the lobby was first introduced, branded mainly as a possible solution to the long "perm vmode" issue. ie. By moving the dm to the lobby accounts, it would allow them to delete game accounts with dm that hadn't logged in for 35 days.

I am not sure why they haven't moved forward with it as I see it as a big win-win. We'll have more control over our dm and a fix for the overcrowded old universes.

I see 2 potential issues.
1. From a financial/sales perspective then it might make more sense for GF to keep the dm separate to each account.
2. It would be impossible to make sure everyone who has a long term vmode account would be notified, so they should probably wait 6-12 months at least before any game accounts are deleted.

Maybe it's time to make a stompt about this(if one haven't already been made) and throw the link around to show GF that this suggestion is something we want.

For sure it has not ben developed and it is not being baked yet. Still an idea hanging around.
