My main point is that I would only like to receive really important messages. More precisely - this number 8 above is spam only to me, and cleaning the "garbage" is tedious and annoying.

Today I came across a trivial solution: In the message settings it is possible to choose to receive info from the auctioneer. I suggest the same in the news sections mentioned above. Each player can decide what is important and what is not.
