Things did not go as planned which makes this hit one of my crappiest hit at this server. Guy came online soon after impact, jumped over some recs from the other moon and immediately started harvesting, multiplying recs, etc... We played some hide and seek with false follow-ups and recalls in hope to slow him down, but all what I succeded was one recycling round which barely cover my own damage. That's strange. I mean lonewolf's main fleet disappearance. Stats don't show some big battle by anyone on the top fleeters list. Nice hit here, tho.

Unless they filtered out whole country Anyway, it sucks to lose fleet that way. You should open ticket, joined IRC to talk with GOs to put your acc into VM or something. Now's sadly too late for that. I hope you didn't lost too much.

If that's all what he profited from, this shouldn't be exactly the reason for perm ban I believe. I mean many got some peanuts before realizing what's going on. It's obvious difference between few extra ships/missiles/something on one side and pumping up hundreds or thousands dessies on the other side.

It's not like game staff can do anything against ddos attacks. Those downtimes are unpredicted and completly out of control of game staff. We can't blame them here. It's crappy situation for all of us here (players and game staff).

Unless they don't have backups, roll back would be logical part of solution here. There must be hundreds players who pumped up some ships accidentally. Not on a huge scale as those banned players, but still... Even some of us who saw this thread yesterday thought that this is about isolated case with someone exploiting server and pumping up few accounts while it seems now that this potentially affected everyone who spent some overnight mines resources on ships.

In case server login come back I suggest 12 hours or something non-attack ban as usual practise on server roll back and similar occurences where players don't know when to be online to fleetsave.

Most of them are innocent victims of manipulation anyway, however imho it's still good to be temp. banned - because some of them may not be even aware of shiny new un-saved fleet parked on their planet. Not that it make any difference, but anyway.
