  • No matter how you define 'Deathstar only fleet' for this, players can and will add throwaway ships to the fleet so they can still get honour points.

  • My 3 Suggestions

    1) An ingame link to IRC is coming in version 4. It's not quite like facebook's chat, but I don't think they need to implement another system while they still have OnlineGamesNet running. 2) The problem with a bot is that what is a fair trade is determined by the community (plus there are unis with no pushing rule), and I've heard that community-specific programming isn't done. Plus I imagine automatically determining what transport is part of what trade wouldn't be easy at all. 3) Last I heard …

  • Also, it prevents strong players from using the weak players as (relatively) safe fleetsaves.

  • I think Kebab was asking about people who register for multiple game universes within the same community, like say uni 30.org and uni 40.org. At .org having multiple board accounts without explicit BA permission is against the rules, so if it registers a board account with each one there could be a lot more multi problems... EDIT: Or maybe I'm a derp and I'm reading this as registering for them at the same time.

  • If it is just a trade error, contact your GOs. Explain the situation calmly. The problem with this suggestion is that there is no easy way to reliably tell the difference between a trade error and a pushing attempt, no matter how you slice it.

  • I do somewhat agree that this shouldn't just be a commander feature. However, it's not hard to avoid being cheated without this- simply have the lower ranked player's resources land first. In fact, you should probably do that even if you have commander, just in case the lower ranked player recalls their fleet.

  • Forgive me if it was pointed out before, but I don't necessarily like the idea of debris significantly impacting profit, as there is no guarantee that the winner gets it. DFs can be stolen, or picked at by the loser, or the winner may not have enough recyclers (for whatever reason) to get it all without significant amounts of luck and/or help. Getting honour points because a battle would have been profitable but the attacker mistimed his recyclers just seems off to me.

You can't sort by it, but as of version 3.1 the number of ships a player has is displayed in a tooltip on their military score.

  • Currently, each planet/moon can have fleet escape turned off individually. Suggestion is for a button to change that setting for all your planets and moons at once.

  • But then how would that be different from just spending all your resources without going into vmode? The protection of vacation mode doesn't matter much if there's no reason to attack anyway.

  • Was browsing the accepted suggestions news post, this was implemented in version 3 (your alliance's tag is highlighted in green).

Just because another game does something is no reason in and of itself for OGame to do it too. Features should be implemented because they are good for OGame's balance, not because someone wants to play follow the leader. Just saying.

You cannot acs defend players in newb protection to you, because otherwise could and would make fleetsaving too easy.

An emergency login won't help when the game server itself isn't working. Plus afaik there is no official emergency login, only third party sites (and using those violates the T&Cs, besides the risk in having your login information compromised). And it is a LOT easier to say 'do something to stop ddoses' than it is to actually do something.

  • Quote from zerg: “Actually that is already in game. In galaxy menu, hover your mouse over your planet picture, it says your activity. Works not for the planet currently active, but it should have a * anyways. Or did I miss the point?” The problem is that doesn't seem to be consistent behavior, in fact it seems more of a bug. The suggestion would mean you could see an activity indicator without hovering over a planet, directly displayed like it is for other players. As for this suggestion, I say …

I actually did get a use out the alliance depot as it is once, so I wouldn't recommend removing it altogether...

So this would be a complete status of the account? Like the Empire option already provided by Commander? If it needs to be said, the Empire view opens in a new window and lists for each planet their names, sizes, current resources, storage space, resource buildings, facilities, defense, research, and fleet, as well as a sums and averages column. It also lists moons on their own page. EDIT: Oh, this would provide the information to the alliance, possibly based on permissions? Sorry if I seem weir…

  • Minor issue, when sending from a moon to its planet (or vice versa), it does not add an extra cargo for the fuel. Sure the amount of resources left behind is very low, but still, if it adds cargos for other flights, why not this? Still this is a great tool, thanks much.

The reason no concrete information is given is because we have no concrete information to give. Simple as that.

  • If you need the specifics on how that works: Quote: “As of v2.1.2, if a building takes more than 100 seconds to build after factoring in the universe's speed, then its build time is reduced by 90 seconds.”
