  • This also can be called 2 times stronger fleets for the time investment twice as lower. When anything like that gets moved into the standard 1x/30% debris uni, it breaks the existing balance.

  • It's not some type of purely-local Russian problem, JoKy, more like an established trend of "mixing it all up", and "finding out what happens", where people had to live with it simply as there weren't any alternatives given, where accounts such as this (relocated in 2012 from the server with permitted pushing) would have never been allowed to become a part of the Standard Universe from the very beginning. But back in the day, when the 2012 mergers were taking place, it appeared as someone didn't…

  • Quote from Danimanza: “It is NOT possible to design a merge plan which count with all this specification: - Same speed - Same highrank” Hi there. You see, it's not about the number of points on certain accounts, it's all about total time spent developing them in the environment of the standard, x1/30% Universes in comparison to at least doubled easiness of doing so in the Special ones. Quote from Danimanza: “Players who want to keep same speed, they can. If players want to change it, they also c…

  • Dear Martin and the rest of the crew, it's almost 4 years now since the first Universe mergers within the project, most of which have given an inspiring boost to the local events, yet unfortunately, the pattern which your team has followed while doing those, has also brought a feeling of ridicule and fraud towards your most dedicated, long-time standard 1x Universe players. Apparently, it wasn't done due to some prepense malign intent, but at the same time, the harm it has caused to the balance …

  • It hangs on User A after the first 2 steps, not on User B. In other words, it's not displaying the message that bids aren't allowed in Vocation Mode.

  • Have you tried to reproduce what I have written? Do so, and you'll get what I meant.

  • Auctioneer page hangs upon the attempt to enter it if the user placed a bid on an item and activated Vacation Mode. (It gets reset & fixes itself afterwards a certain server event, although I'm not sure exactly what it might be).

  • Expeditions always used to be in charge of this... I bet they still are!

  • I think it's been discussed multiple times across many OGame boards, the thread which you posted is like 1 out of 20 similar ones. It always slipped at the stage where users demanded UI enhancements in order for the concept to function, that's why my last version of it involves none, besides introducing a new booster for increasing temporary economy strength of starter's account.

  • Good evening, everyone. I've been thinking of returning back to another cycle of discussing this concept recently, since initially it has found its place on the game's boards as long ago as 2007, and then, popped up here on Origin in 2011. The key feature of the concept is allowing the still-attainable competitive start in the Universes which have passed the 1 year of existence barrier. In this case, it is suggested that the "Accelerating universe" x3 (from the initial) economy booster is going …

  • It's no doubt raiding inactives is beneficent for the economy of players, but, the user's account is still *that user's* account, and should always remain this way. The maximum what could be done in accordance with your current suggestion is increasing the default account lifetime from 36 to, let's say, 72 days. In this case, non-premium inactives will be staying in the game 2 times longer and GOs will also be able to block those who break the rules for an additional 30 days, resulting in 2 mont…

What I like about this ship is that it doesn't involve in changing combat system. However, the impact on daily raiding gain could rise as high as by 30% due to extended availability of slots. I don't know if it's good or bad and tend to believe it would be the first, the positive factor. Ships in this game weren't renewed for ages and something needs to be done in order to keep the interest of those who think these days there would be no further appealing design changes.

  • We've had some thoughts about it in the local community this summer and it seemed to me an appropriate and easy-to-implement worldwide solution exists here. The idea itself spins around initially increasing the standard account lifetime from 36 to 72 days, thus, allowing the staff to enforce longer (up to 63 days) Pushing suspensions. This would help to diminish the value of unfair incomes by prolonging the player's inability to replenish the resources pool. If one knows the ban could last 2 mon…

  • A suggestion to penalize people for using FS tactic which completely stops mining?.. I'd understand the wish to address that in speed unis, though for regular ones, it's just an ordinary saving strategy which penalizes itself, by the mentioned halt of production. To say it short, it doesn't gain my vote (at least, in the current form).

  • The purpose is really simple: security / possible account thefts. I don't feel like digging into the details, so to put it short, 1 week for rollback is just not enough for the original account owner to notice suspicious things, therefore, the 14 days change is vital for enhanced players security. Personally, I'd also consider the SMS notification option.

  • Quote from jrme: “With this system, the auto deleting of long time inactive players is solved because DM is independent of the account.” That's a big alliance leader's nightmare: renew about 20+ accounts every month. If the whole thing was only for that purpose, then I'm strictly against it.

Haven't understood a line related to its purpose. Why publish unpolished concepts?

  • Well... 2 years have passed since my original suggestion, along with 3 & a half from the moment I've started thinking of the issue. I fully support what you've said, though it's my sincere belief my word isn't gonna change much, the incredibly low speed of feature implementation just prompts that.

  • It's not hard to achieve by giving linked Unis a certain tag which would mean they consist of the same (no pushing, equal speed) rules and are old enough not to provide too much of advance to the resettled fleet. On Valen't note: IMO, allowing it once every 3 months for 720k DM (3 relocations) sounds like a reasonable option.

  • On the sidenote, I'd like to add that if a person knows two or more foreign languages & moderates non-local realm, he's sure to have some buddies around.
