Also, don't forget that is probably a huge patchwork (literally) to accommodate specificities not supported initially by the codebase (as long as I remember, v0.77 hasn't been exactly like the one we are playing on retro) and probably a lot of deprecated functions removed long time ago in PHP engine... I don't remember exactly the history, but I would bet that OGame has started to be written with PHP 4, if not 3, while the oldest PHP branch still receiving security fixes is 5.6 until the end of …

Quote from Sorcy: “What I am against is specifically non attack ban after player leave protection (vacation mode) to help to those who profited in the time of downtime to utilize accumulated resources easier. ” Yes, that would be a huge gift for us (miners) to combine ceasefire and some weeks of accumulated production, quite unfair. Hence my suggested combination of Extended Ceasefire (3 to 5 days) + No MV + No Production. It still slightly disadvantage raiders as they cannot harvest farmers whi…

Quote from Sorcy: “But thing is that I don't fleet because server is on halt. Because of bug. Becuase no one play. And that's the reason why no one should profit from this situation against other players. ” I agree with you. I forgot that point in my post but IMHO, alongside measures I mentioned/expect for the comeback, resources production should be frozen too (but it implies that a backup of the very first day of the first shutdown exists and to do probably some tricks in the database to enfor…

Hi, Quote from Canarefr: “That's the reason why i think that the backup is the fairer way to go. Even if annoying for us, who play with some constance. If we return to the last sure backup (used after the second shutdown) there will ba also a good amout of resources, if that's important. Anyways IMHO those resources are one of the reasons that stopped many players from removing the v-mode, i don't think that's a very intelligent spot. Maybe a backup done just after or one day after this shutdown…

Well, after trying a lot of things, in fact, session spoofing seems to work but for some obscure reasons that are beyond me, it needs a browser restart... After that, I can connect to Bermuda without any problem from ogame-live.gameforge.com/. It is an highly precarious balance where a single page loading can break the portal session, but the session with the game server is hopefully really persistent. So come on GF, you are almost there... Not only Safari and Opera but any browser might benefit…

Well ok, thank you for reporting. Do you know an (temporary) alternative login form? I've tried some workarounds, including session spoofing but with no luck... P.S.: Even if OGame itself does not support Opera Legacy or Safari, they work perfectly fine with it... At least when there is not a greedy portal ahead.

Hi, @JoKy, yep. I use exactly the same credentials for GF Portal as they were for my OGame account. I only merged one account and as long as I remember, I did not have any GameForge account before. If portal team does not see something strange, It looks like a password have been successfully "copied", but I have absolutely no idea which one it is. And so to answer your question, yes, I am still unable to login. (Sorry, stupid question, but did you mean "PM" by "PN"? :S) Edit: Well in fact, I man…

Hi, Server name: Bermuda Account: cedricpc #100209 Problem: Can't login after conversion I guess that I can easily solve the problem by using the forgotten password form, but I would like to point out that password can be lost during account conversion and let a chance to understand what happened under the hood by leaving my account in "broken" state.

Hi, And that's why you are mainly speaking German on the OGame Origin Tools' IRC channel? So please, do not blame someone for something that you are doing yourself elsewhere. Besides, it is more easy to understand a code only with an incomprehensible variable name – and I do not talk about comments, they should be useless with a clean code – than a whole conversation with a foreign and especially unknown language... I have already reused some polish codes – language that I do not know at all! – …
