Make it a premium feature tied to Commander if you like, it just drives me crazy that if I want to probe a bunch of people in g7 from g3 for example, I have to manually send probes at a slower speed to each moon and colony rather than use 1-click probing.

It would be great if the game was smart enough to figure out the max speed to reach the target and set the probes to that speed automagically.

Or add an option to pre-set a speed, just as with the numbers of probes.

I totally agree with this. It's very annoying if you have to change the speed of your probes.
Especially if you probe intergal a lot.

I agrre with this idea, but there is another problem:

if you have to go from g1 to g9, the probe cannot arrive there neither at 10% of speed.
So, beyond this idea, it woulde be better also to improve the hold capacity of the probes.

I'm against this suggestion. If you want to probe far, you have to get a good reason. And in that case, you take the corresponding actions.
