Trade rules clarification

Hi,

In the french community, the trade rule are

Metal/Cristal : min 1.5/1 => max 3/1

Metal/Deut : min 1.5/1 => max 3/1

Cristal/Deut : min 1/1 => max 3/1

But in the origin community

3/2/1 for trade metal
2/1/1 for trade cristal

Why have we other rules here?

Seems like the french community is special, not origin

They way it is here is like on .us, .org and .de

Also 3:1 Crys : Deut seems like a exchangerate noone would use, except for pushing.

But i've many metal and i want to sell for cristal. With 2/1 ratio, it's not easy to sell

Yeah because 2:1 is as expensive as it gets. If you use 3:2 (1,5:1) you will sell your metal easiely

If he can't find buyers for his metal at a 2/1 ratio, I don't think making it more expensive will help.

To be fair though, I don't think it's a pricing issue. So much vital stuff costs crystal early on, regardless on gamestyle, that finding people with excess crystal will be difficult. Lab, Espionage, Impulse, Energy, Computer, probes, and the first colony ship, you name it. One can never have too much crystal

Already in 2013 I noticed that the rules are not the same everywhere.

In Poland it was the same as in France, but as it seems it has been changed to 3:2:1/2:1:1.

In the .ar forum I could not find anything about 5:3:1 anymore (only 3:2:1/2:1:1), but in .es and .mx I did.

Why are the trade rules different?
Should they not be everywhere the same?

Yes, but it's not à high price. I sell 3 metal for 1 cristal

but with the trade rules, I can't

For the new universe, i think to trade 3 metal for 1 cristal is better

Trades that mean an unfair profit to the

higher

ranked player by falling outside the following range of ratios will be considered as Pushing cases:
3:2:1 Where each unit of deuterium is worth 2 units of crystal or 3 units of metal.
2:1:1 Where each unit of deuterium is worth 1 unit of crystal or 2 units of metal.

The only time that its not allowed is if the person he is selling metal to is higher ranked then he is. He is more then allowed to sell metal for a better ratio to lower ranked players who might need the metal more then crystal at that moment.
