i think that a chat for users in friends list and/or for the ally would be a great idea. what do u think?

I guess, you mean in game. A chat for the friendslist, No I don't think so... Those "you" have on your friends list, might not me on "my" friends list. So a chat there would be confusing, since you might not understand what was said, because it was a conversation between you and one of your frirnds, that's not on my list.
BUT,,, The ally chat... Yeah it could be a nice idea. On the other hand - we have IRC, Msn and a lot of other ways of having the opportunity to chat..

A proper chatsystem is a necessity that we can't prosper without. If we don't have ingame chat, we will use 3rd party chat provider whatever it may be for different people.
a good ingame chatsystem would ease the communications between allymates and tradepartners, enemies and all... So yeah!
Why don't we have one already? -

Sometimes we have to ask for help or we must decide and do something very quickly !
I think it's an essential tool to play effectively without using external tools of communication.

Moderate an ally-chat ?
IRC is a very good tool but I think all the players don't like it .... and it's a real effort to install it ...

Correct. A general chat can not be done without a really evil filter, otherwise it would be necessary to check im very often. In an alliance you also could use circular messages, don´t think a chat is necessary. But will keep it in mind.

It is a good Idea.
Not every one has his chat progammms everywere. A simple chatbox in the "Allianmenü" could help there. -

That's would be wonderfull in the "alliance menu", and even better if it would be possible to invite players of an other alliance (wing for example)

I prefer MSN for chatting with ally mates and friends.
And if they don't have MSN, they can still use irc.
Or you can setup a chat on your alliance forum, it's very easy really.
I don't think a chat system ingame is not a priority atm, though it could be very usefull. -
We could make a small javascript IRC client widget for the game (sort of like mibbit) that connects the user to the specific universe channel on the OGN servers with their ingame nick.
Moderation on that wouldn't be too much more work, as we could just tune SpamServ with a more aggressive policy so it can moderate for us.
As for ally chat, if they want one they can ask #help to create them a channel or use one of the many free flash chat providers out there.
