I like this. I proposed the same in Spanish forum.
Even, why not the old behaviour that still exists in alliance? It definitely is more practical and gives more info. This was a clear step back for no reason, in my opinion.

Here again, to give this visibility. I don't think anyone would be against this. It's plain simple, not more than two or three lines of code (plus a new orange image).

Of course the “old way” that still exists in alliance is much better (please don't touch that) but this one of buddy list could be easily improved.

I suppose you mean a little change like skype for example.

It would be usefull and we would know only watching a colour if someone is not there
In my opinion If green means someone is online (less than 15 minutes)
Maybe
- Yellow (from 15 to 30 minutes)
- Orange (from 45 to 30 minutes)
- Red (from 60 to 30 minutes)
- Without any colour if someone is offline.

Imperor, I didn't mean that much, for me Yellow/Orange from 15 to 60min would be enough, but in any case, what you propose is even more detailed.
