Nicely done Warsaalk.
Now players can simulate their battles much faster than before!
Even big battle simulations are simulated fast.

Well actually it's a correct calculation but it doesn't make much sense

It happens when the battle is won 199 times but ends in a draw 1 time.
This results into the following:

199 / 200 -> 0.995 * 100 -> round(99.5) -> 100 %
1 / 200 -> 0.005 * 100 -> round(0.5) -> 1 %

I will add a check, if there is any change on a draw (<= 1%) subtract it from the attacker or defender win percentage

Indeed, it's not fixed yet.
I'm busy with migrating all my applications to a new server, this takes a while.
When that's all done I'll start fixing the TrashSim bugs.

Hi,

I just noticed this morning that when i click on icon to open IPM simulation on enemy defense, nothing happens. It's the same for my friend too. I tried two different web browsers and the same problem occurred. Is it bugged?

Hi,

Yesterday I ran a second update for TrashSim, version 1.3.0.
A lot of changes were already online, I just waited till now to increase the version.
The only new change you'll notice is the implementation of the new DiDF feature in OGame.
Also known as different debris field percentages.

Changelog:

New, DiDF implementation
New, added a engineer checkbox for the main defender (for DiDf feature)
Fix, changes in OGame espionage API
Fix, speed & fuel usage calculations were wrong
Polish, changes for new server

It would be nice if TrashSim provided an option to simulate the best fleet composition to minimize losses and maximize resource profit. Would something like this be doable?

That is also something I've already been thinking about.
But it's more complex & more heavy than a normal simulation.
There's a lot more to it than just simulating a battle with what you thing is right.
I don't think it'll be developing it any time soon, also because I'd have to buy a much more expensive server to do all the calculations...

Maybe it can be made as a Javascript, so you don't need to buy the more expensive server and the calculations could run locally

Sure like the simulator does now

But those calculations would take like 100x more time and probably even longer than that.
I guess for simple fleet it wouldn't be a problem.
When RIP's are coming into a universe it's really heavy :p

Hey,

I think I found the answer for your shield problem! If you speak (read) French you can see it here

My problem was the following:

I attacked a target with 30 light laser, 1 small shield and 1 big shield with 6 big transporter, 30 heavy fighters and 10 cruiser (sorry I am not sure that are the correct ships name...).
Defender shield technology was 10 and my attack technology was 11, but at round 4,5 and 6 it was only my ships against the big shields:

The attacker attacks with a power of 24.310 and the defender shield absorbed 24.310.

I didn't understand because the shield power was 20.000 and even my HFs have a firing power of 310 > 200 the bouncing effect. So I asked on the forum.

I get the answer that the simulation are made using percentage and are round to the lowest percent.

for HFs: 310 = 310 * 100 / 20.000 = 1.55% = 1% = 200
for Cruisers 840 = 840 * 100 / 20.000 = 4.2% = 4% = 800

So my complete fleet has 30 * 200 + 10 * 800 = 14.000 attack, which explain the result. The example in the post, I linked is the following: without technology, one cruiser has 150 attack, and a big shield 10.000 shield. But 100 cruisers with an attack of 15.000 will draw against the shield, because of this round they only have 10.000 attack.

I hope it can help you to solve the problem :). I really like you simulator, the design is very nice and very integrated to Antigame!
