Hi, i have a problem, i can't save my backup in the server, as i see the maintenance has finished... greetings
-
Dear AntiGameOrigin users,
first of all we have noticed in last time lot of 5 star user reviews for our extension.
We are glad to see that and also to see that much users really like to use this extension.
Because all of that we have decided to make AntiGameOrigin extension compatible for multi process on FireFox.
That is huge step to do and also bring us lot of new work.
So plan is to rewrite whole source code, with doing that we expect better loading times and possibilities to add new features to our extension. (generally for all browsers)
I would like to mention that everybody who thing that he can help with rewriting code can contact me, in some later phase we will open again positions for AGO beta testers.
You could also support us trough donations, we do have donation page on our web site and also paypal.me page, we appreciate all help. Maybe your little can bring us lot.\
Best regards,
AntiGameOrigin Team -
I think AntiGameOrigin is one of the finest pieces of OGame that where ever designed; and has a really calculated design for the usability and the user experience of us players. I like to see it get attention. Good luck and good job

Dear players,
AntiGameOrigin website is in maintenance mode.
AntiGameOrigin for FireFox is already in development mode in last several weeks, it will take couple more, be patient.
Best regards -
Dear players,
there are some bad news. Guy who hosted AntiGameOrigin won't host it anymore, so hosting and domain are gone and that means all server functions like saving settings to server won't work in future.
If you are willing that AntiGameOrigin makes new domain on new server, you can help by donating some amount via paypal: paypal.me/AntiGameOrigin/
All donated amount will go on domain, hosting, certificates and developing new website application and server functions.
*with new server there will be new platform developed*
Thanks for support.
Best regards
p.s. several weeks for firefox release if firefox AMO reviewers do their job correctly. -
If you are sad has to manage script, you can put it at the disposal of communities.
On the .fr, users are willing to correct and can host. -

This is really weird that it takes you that long to develop AGO for FF57, based on the chrome version of AGO it took me 3 hours to have a fully working extension of AGO for FF57.
And i wasnt familiar with the source code of AGO so for you i guess it would take only 30 min to 1h -
Why don't you release the code in a github repo so anyone can contribute, at least via issues and pull requests? 100 eyes work better than 2, and you'd still have control and ownership over it.
Don't be the bottleneck that prevents this plugin to go on...
As for hosting, there's no need imho, if that has to be a problem. -

or simpler. Shole retrieves your version and we have directly the ff57 version of antigame -

That's a good idea, then someone can look at the code and fix issues and Shole could release a new version when it's ready and working.
Maybe even some new features can be developed with other people's contribution -

As i said, those who want to help can contact me to get access to it. Maybe it will go public in future... -
Couldn't you just use the "fixed" version for now on FF and then at a later day upload the completly rewritten version? That would be the best way for everyone that uses FF.

Nope, isn't planned like that.
FF users can wait little more. -
-
Firefox users have been waiting for at least September 12, 2017.
Date you released the version on Big Brother ... euh Google Chrome. We have to stay on an outdated browser or go on a browser rotten by a multinational. We have waited long enough.
@Ouraios : can you publish your alternative version? that we can be safe? -
Maybe someone forgotten that who create and update a script/tool do for free, and use his passion, his free time to manage, edit, update, correct it.
So could sound that now you are complain about Shole don't work for you. If for example tomorrow Shole will decide to delete Antigame it is a his right, he has not signed any contract with you, you have not written the code, you are not the one to pay his time.
And a same time, sound normal that he don't want to share with everybody code of his work.
Instead to pretend, or complain about time you need to wait, give positive motivation to him ........... for the moment if I were him, reading your words I should have less interest to continue project, instead to push speed to fix the problems
-
You seem to forget that he isn't the creator of AGO.
He ask to be patient, refuses help but ask for donations. Normal that community doesn't appreciate.
Then, I don't care. I do not use AGO. But I do not find that very appropriate to make a demand for donation on the board.
