So, the idea is this:
you could put Missions in Ogame.
From time to time, for example every 1 hour, random time, in some solar
sistems will apear Alien planets or Comets. Number of planets and comets depends
on number of players in specific uni. Planets have mines that equal avarage mines of
all players in uni, and when placed, they contain resources that equal 24 hours
production on that planet. For example, in begining of uni where most people have
mine levels: metal 7, crystal 5, deuterium 3, that will be mines on that planet, and
resources on that planet when planet apears (if speed is x1) will be:

Mines will work normaly after planet is created and mine production continues
untill someone atacks that planet. Attacker will gain all resources after attack, and
that planet will be Destroyed, and another will apear somewhere in galaxy.
Comets will contain 5 x more resources then planet would contain, but they
have to be harvested with recyclers (which takes more time and is more risky).
Comets will also be Destroyed after harvesting and will be placed somewhere else in
galaxy.
Both, planets and comets, can not be spyed or phalanxed, unabled to
transport resources there, or sending ACS defend.
For every sucsessfull attack or harvest, player will gain +1 Skill point. It can
only be sent One mission slot at time.
Maximum number of missions player can complete in one day will be, for
exampe 5 (5 skill points).
Skill points:
Players can spend skill points on 2 of 5 possible abilitys. Those abilitys are:
10% more attack power
10% more defending power
10% more mines production
10% less research time
10% faster ships travel speed.
For 1% of each skill players will have to pay 5 skill points. for additional % - 10
more skill points. for 3% - 15 more skill points.
Here is a full table:
So, in total, players will have to do 275 mission for completing 1 ability on
10%.
As i said, players will have to chose only 2 abilities. If at some time they want
to reset their abilities, they will be able to do that only with Dark matter (cost, for
example 50.000). They will recive all their skill points they spent (in case they have 2
abilities on 10% - it will be 550 total skill points, so they can spend that on other
abilities.
All abilities will be seen in spy reports. It will be possible to see them even if
player is spying with 1 probe (below ressources).
Also, skill points could be traded for Dark matter (if someone doesn't want to
spend them on abilities or if player already had max possible abilitys).
10 skill points could be traded for example for 1.000 Dark matter.
I think this idea could keep more players in uni's. Getting 5 mission per day will
gain enough ressources for all players and players would be more active.
