I also agree with the proposal made by Hideki ,I think the Auction should be 24/7.

I have an account in Ogame Brazil and I have another account in Ogame Spain.But I must point out that I don´t live in Brazil or in Spain and my timezone doesn´t matchup with either.So it is a bit unfair for us players who don´t live where the hosting game server is at.
Furthermore most gamers have "unusual" hours.So it really isn´t equitable or just for them either.
I don´t agree with having exclusivity with the 24 hour auction only if you recruit officers.
It really comes down to having a fair game for all players.

I understand why they didn't make it 24hrs, especially for the more "obscure" language communities like .Ar where all the players will be in one timezone so means no competition for the auction items.
But I wouldn't be against it expanding, especially when you consider communities like .org/.us/.es where players are in different timezones to the servertime

Also, access to the auction should not be available for those in v-mode...
There are those trolls who play the game in the v-mode for months but still bidding excessive amounts to the auctioneer just to irritate others...
