  • Debris field – How do I time my recyclers properly?

To harvest a debris field before anyone else can, it can be very helpful timing your recyclers in advance. If this is not done, another player might “steel” it and you stay with your heavy losses of the battle creating the DF.

How does this work although recyclers are much slower than normal battle fleet? It is recommended to start recyclers much earlier than the actual battle fleet. Then, you can start the fleet so that it arrives shortly before the recyclers. Depending on the activity of the universe, the time between the fleet and the recyclers should only be a couple of seconds.
How do I send out my recyclers in advance of no DF is present yet? This can be fixed easily by attacking the planet with a cheap spy probe. Keep in mind that every fight creates a DF, even if no units are lost.

  • Overview – How do I see, what ships attack me?

The visibility of the attacking fleet depends on your stage of espionage technology:
    • Level 2: you see the number of ships attacking you
    • Level 4: the number of ships and the type of ships attacking you is displayed
    • Level 8: the exact fleet composition is shown

  • Relocation of planets – How is this done?

What does the relocation feature do?
It enables you to transfer one of your own planets (even your home world) with its moon to a new position

    What are the costs?
For every successful relocation, 240.000 Dark Matter are taken.

What happens to the buildings, ships, defence and resources?
All resources, buildings and defences are directly transferred to the new position
All ships from the planet and the moon fly to the new position. The speed of the slowest ship is used (100%). This costs no deuterium
If the distance is greater, it might be better to use a present jump gate.
Ships flying to the new planet are not visible in the sensor phalanx.

So a player can quickly transfer his planet into my solar system and attack me?
The jump gate will be frozen for 24h to prevent such quick attacks

Can I relocate every planet to wherever I want to?
No. There are some restrictions. You can only relocate to a free position, which is similar to the original position. This means that you can relocate a position 1 planet only to positions 1-3. The boundaries are 1-3, 4-12 and 13-15.
By choosing a target for the relocation, the position is blocked for any other colonization or relocation. Any colony ships on their way, when the relocation process is started are treated primarily stopping the relocation process.
A relocation changes the planet picture and the temperature. Only the planet size stays the same.

What do I need to keep in mind?
During the process, no fleet movement should occur from or to the planet or its moon. Any processing buildings or research can also stop the process.
You cannot relocate if you are in vacation mode.

What happens if other players are on their way to the position, which should be relocated?
Helping ships return home at the time of relocation, attacks don’t stop the relocation process.

How do you do a relocation?
You go to the target planet and click on the button “relocate” in the overview. Now you enter the galaxy view, where you can find the position you want to go to. On the right of the position number of a planet, there are two icons. Clicking on the right one, starts the relocation. Unless something stops it, the planet is now relocated after 24h. A countdown shows up in the overview of the planet. After the process was completed, 240.000 Dark matter are taken from the account.

How can I stop the relocation process?
    Needs to be reworked

    Further information:
A relocation is only possible every 24h, even if the process is stopped. The only exception is when other colony ships colonize the target position earlier. Dark Matter is only lost if the relocation was successful.

  • Vacation mode – What is this?

The vacation mode (v-mode) protects you during long offline times. You should always go into the v-mode, if you can’t login during the next 48 hours. Once you are in the v-mode, no one can fly towards you (espionage, attacks, transport etc.), but your account production is also drawn down to zero. You only receive your fundamental income of 30 Metal and 15 crystal per hour.
To activate the v-mode simply go to your options – advanced – vacation mode – click on the checkbox and save changes.

    Note:
You can only enter the v-mode if the following is fulfilled:
    • No own fleets on their way
    • Nothing building
    • Nothing researching
    • Nothing in the shipyard

If hostile fleets attack you once you go into the v-mode, they keep flying unless the player withdraws.

The v-mode lasts at least 48h in normal universes. Only after this time, the checkmark can be taken away. After the v-mode, all mines have to be put back to 100%. Theoretically, there is no maximum time for the v-mode.

The vacation mode does not prevent the deletion of the account after 35 days of inactivity.

If there are any problems with the activation of the vacation mode, go through the points from above, click on the “recalculate” button on every planet and try again. If this doesn’t help, contact your Gameoperator for help.

  • Delay – How does it work and why should I do it?

You can delay your attacking fleets for extra safety before the arrival at another planet. To do this, start a combined attack from the fleet movements menu by clicking on the icon. Now you can add extra ships to the formation. In order to delay the fleet, it is popular to just add a spy probe. The fleet is added so that its time of arrival moves the whole formation back by a couple of seconds.

    Example:
The attacking fleet arrives in 2 minutes. If you now add a spy probe with a time of arrival in 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the whole formation will now arrive in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

    Why is this useful?
If someone acs defends the planet or the player himself stations some ships to the target moon, the attacker can spy the planet and see those in order to react.

Attention: you can only delay fleets by 30% of their original flight time. Once a fleet is delayed, it cannot become faster again. Even if the delaying fleet is withdrawn, the speed does not change anymore.

  • This looks nice :)
Only have a few small remarks.

For the parts about planet sizes etc, this might be a usefull pic to include.
    i45.tinypic.com/scesjq.jpg

I was also thinking you could add some more info on special trade ratios.
In .org certain unis have different rats that the normal ones between 3:2:1 and 2:1:1.

Also I would suggest to use following words:
acs attack in stead of combined attack
Combat forces in stead of fighting bons
These are the words that are used ingame, so might be more clear for people.

    EDIT: forgot to mention :)
some parts contain basicly the same info.
Or they overlap eachother. For exmple the ones about moons.
Maybe you could merge those together?
