Contacting an Alliance Founder/diplomat

This is a nice suggestion from OGame.us:

Add an option on an alliance's page to allow other players to contact that alliance's founder and diplomats, so other alliances can propose treaties, or players can simply enquire about the alliance.

In line with this add a privilege in the "configure rights" area to be a "Diplomat" meaning they receive these messages.

Very nice suggestion in my opinion since there is no way to contact an alliance without sending a pm to a member ..

There was an old suggestion at .org about PMing alliances, but I cba finding it right now. >_>

Really though, this will be nice. I do think that for the person sending it the recipient should be the alliance, just so we don't have internal ranks revealed needlessly.

What your screen shows is live?

But I think it is better than a direct link to the founder because with the player tag you can easily decide whom you want to be contacted.

Yes this is live, some versions ago ...
Just write the player bbcode tag and when you go now to the alliance page ( works only from game with sessionid in your cookie ), then you can write a message directly to the player posted on the alliance page.
So here you can choose and write down the rank of this player: diplomat, founder etc.

so on v2.1.11 and on the test server it looks like this for me

a bit hard to see because its dark on dark (and the gaussian blur) but i only get the playername and the coordinates

It´s only possible when the alliance page know´s your cookie/session.

and why shouldn't it know it? i have been logged in and i opened it from an ingame link?

or do i need to attack the session manually to the link? tested this and still didn't work.

so either way it would be fine to have this but a working version doesn't seem to be ingame.

On my test allypage it works:

One problem: It doesn't work with my name, only with others. Maybe you've only tested it with your own name, marshen?
