  • I disagree. Farming inactives while mining is the best option right now, so it does not need another buff. Look, it's more superior than getting a fleet, because even with 75% plunder from nearly 200 targets, inactives are better because there are more of them.     It's a good point - both expeditions low results and bugged top1 appeared at same time, short after the last update. However, if it was related to huge top1 point count, you'd still get standard results from what you're sending, but if you sent much more than usual - you'd be able to gain much more than usual. For example, when cap is raised to 12k, if you still send 9k expo fleets, you'll get same results - you'll just gain more if you send 12k. If the maximum expo points counted per expedition…

    Just a minor thing. With commander enabled, when you open your message folder, it's default option (when there's no new messages), is to open on player message list. It'd be cool if it was customizable - for example, what I want to check, when there's no new messages, is almost always the espionage scan list; for various reasons. When server or my connection lags, switching to it 100500 times a day gets a little annoying

    Did that a couple times to see whether I'd start to get 75% from inactives / non-hp targets with a positive ranking. That'd be a huge boost to my income....but nope, the bonus only applies to (hp) targets, so I've gone back to being a bandit quick.

    The probability of finding resources decreased in such cases. The amounts were always in the same range.

  • Update2: I've run some simulations, and, unless the probability of events also changed... if you keep the alien/pirate fleet losses + full expedition loss probabilities, but reduce the positive event values ten times(as it seems right now), the expedition estimated value(counting the deut. cost), becomes slightly negative, and, depending on composition, could be near 0.   • Yes, they did; and yes, it sucks. for me, expeditions since we've gone back to x2, have been the standard ~25-30% of income(rougly, 1 expo was ~1kk / 24 hours, not missing any) After the update, I'm debating whether it's even worth the slot now. It probably isn't. Update: if it remains unchanged, it 100% _isn't_ worth the slot.

  • Don't think it'd be that hard...all you need to do is change the speed of universe, then modify the base ship speeds to end up whatever you want after the multiplication. Still, it does ridiculously buff miners. Raiding would give more resources than usual of course, due to increased production, but it would be all too easy to get enough optimized defenses, and RIPs even on x2 would take whole night just to go one way.
